Imagine a first of January on which we all won’t be able to wish ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR’!!!!!!
I know, I sound weird and pessimistic to most of the people out there but, the hard facts from past and the present discoveries have made me make this statement.
At this point, I would like to present a question in front of all you readers. Why the Mayan Calendar does not exceed the year 2012??? Do you think the Mayans were so dumb that they could not write the calendar for year 2013?
No, they had a reason to do that. The reason being, their belief of the year 2013 as the YEAR OF DESTRUCTION. This has been depicted in one of their inscriptions; this inscription also stated that, this destruction will be caused by the SUN GOD.
Friends, now hold your breath, cause the present researches carried out on Sun have reveled us a hard to digest fact, that the activities on Sun are getting worst day to day, its size in increasing, fueling this development the earths orbit is shrinking. It is expected that, the world will face brink of destruction due to SOLAR FLARES at the end of year 2012. Thus far carried out researches suggest that GREECE, CHINA, INDIA and some parts of USA, are under the red zone of this threat. At this point I would also like to mention that the effects of recent activities of we Indians like the PHOKRAN TEST, INCREASED GREEN HOUSE EMISSIONS etc are cumulating to create havoc in the so called future superpowers INDIA & CHINA .
So, Will India become a developed country by 2020 or Will the MAYAN predictions come True?
These questions have to be answered only by Time… All that we can do is be optimist and hope all these predictions go wrong, and we will be able to wish everyone a very ‘happy new year’ on 1/1/2013.

All that we can do is keep our fingers crossed because even uncrossing them would not help. For that matter, Ms. Stone’s ’uncrossings’ too could be of little help.
Let’s wait and watch till we can watch no more.

The Mayan concept was dealt in the history channel and I dont think all the great historians cant be false at a time. If you veiw the works of Mayans in the feild of astronomy, I guess you would not have made such a statement mate. I am Sorry that I am harsh in my reply.
Ganesh Chavan seems like a fear monger and a retard who tends to believe in such rubbish. He is probably mentally ill.
He should keep such rubbish in his rotten head rather than trying to damage the society by creating fear and chaos to appease his own mental illness.
Many so called prophets have said this before and several more will say it in our lifetime, but the world will go on.
